ActionCOACH Announces New Coaching for a Cause Program for Non-Profits Looking to Boost Donations and Better Help The Communities They Serve
San Diego, CA – Today, ActionCOACH, the world’s number one business coaching firm, announced its newest program designed to help non-profit organizations leverage their efforts in raising more money to help more recipients in their communities.
The program, called Coaching for a Cause, is a volunteer effort on behalf of more than 1,000 ActionCOACH Offices worldwide who are partnering with local charities and Nonprofits in a 6-month coaching program based on the global company’s award-winning business development and team building systems.
“This is the perfect time for this type of program,” said Annita McDonald, a San Diego ActionCOACH, “With everything going on in the economies around the world, one of the hardest hit sectors has been the Nonprofits who are struggling to get the donations they need to help meet their fundraising objectives.”
When asked how, Annita said, “We will be providing our time and teaching proven strategies and tactics with those organizations who need the most help. Along with helping non-profits not just survive, but thrive, we want to document the success of our program and prove the value that business coaching has on all businesses.”
Annita is currently volunteering several hours a month to her local “Boys and Girls Club of Oceanside.”
The goal of Coaching for a Cause is to help local charities raise in excess of $5 million on the basis of at least $1 million in donated coaching services from ActionCOACH world wide.
In a conventional business, the typical ActionCOACH Business Coach looks to leverage a combination of revenues, profits or savings in multiples of 5 – 30 times, depending on the business, its position in the market and its industry.
According to Brad Sugars, founder ActionCOACH, “leveraging the value of coaching services to actual increased donations by 10 times may be a stretch, but a challenge my company and our coaches are willing to undertake to help non-profits.” He adds, “In the for-profit sector, our results have produced company changing and life changing results for the tens of thousands of businesses we’ve coached over the past 15 years,” he said.
As part of the program, ActionCOACH Business Coaches will partner with a charity or organization that wants to be coached, and will work with that organization’s management team to implement a series of proprietary systems and processes designed to increase the scope and effectiveness of donor outreach and contributions.
“For years, we’ve worked with Nonprofits to give them the tools they need to work more like companies in the for-profit sector,” Sugars said. “Now, we can leverage those efforts throughout our network of coaches, and bring those strategies to willing Nonprofits on a local level everywhere we operate.”
The new program is the result of charity work Sugars did a number of years ago with a children’s Nonprofit in his native Australia.
“At that time, I noticed the organization could use some ‘for-profit’ business advice,” he said. “So I worked with the Board and Executive Director and offered to coach them on the fundamentals of business.”
The results for the charity were record-breaking. Not only did the charity have its best year ever, Sugars used the work as a case study for how Nonprofits could seamlessly adopt new systems and strategies using their current resources to leverage performance, productivity and ultimately – donations.
“For a long time, we’ve wanted to put that system together for our coaches worldwide,” he said. “Now, with the current downturn affecting donations to the extent it has, this is the perfect time for this program.”
